I need to create a chart dynamically using vba. Its values need to be updated from a timer function.

We'll need a little more information than this. Try providing more details, including

  • chart type
  • data source
  • frequency of updates
  • anything else you think would help someone develop a solution

Try this:

  1. Start the Macro recorder.
  2. Create the chart manually.
  3. Stop the Macro recorder.
  4. Modify the VBA created by the Macro recorder.
